With Our Greatest Sorrow for the News on the Passing of H.H. Dudjom Yangsi Rinpoche\u2019s Entering into Parinirvana (1990-2022)<\/span>\"\"<\/h2>\n

We are extremely sorry and sad to hear of the news of His Holiness Dudjom Yangsi \u00a0Sangye Pema Shepa Rinpoche<\/span> ‘s entering into Parinirvana on 15th February, 2022 at the age of 32. This is a great loss for the whole of the Nyingma tradition in general, and of the Dudjom Tersar tradition in particular.<\/h4>\n

We earnestly ask all Dharma friends and disciples of the Dudjom Tersar tradition to do their own sadhanas (especially the Vajrasattva sadhanas and mantras and Guru Yoga), prayers and aspirations, and to dedicate all the merits for the continuous spread of the Holy Dharma for the benefits of all our motherly sentient beings, as limitless as the sky!<\/h4>\n

We sincerely wish that everything will work out fine in accordance with the Holy Dharma and all of our karmic activities and aspirations of sincere good wishes! Tashi Deleg!<\/h4>\n

In the past year, the world has plunged into a sudden great adversity.<\/p>\n

As the truth of the Buddhist Holy Dharma shows: it is “always impermanent in all worldly matters, and that it is only by practising the Holy Dharma will one be able to become liberated from all the distress of impermanence.”<\/p>\n

The core in practising the genuine Buddhist Holy Dharma is on “Mind-Training.”<\/span><\/p>\n

You will find that those Dharma Practitioners who have the “Awareness” in cultivating their \u201cMind-Training\u201d will surely be able:<\/p>\n

To safely survive all kinds of adversity;<\/span><\/p>\n

To get support when in sufferings;<\/span><\/p>\n

To get protected when in crises;<\/span><\/p>\n

To strongly believe in the Law of Cause and Effect with great acceptance<\/span>;<\/span><\/p>\n

A Wholehearted Prayer from All Members of the Dudjom Buddhist Association (International) to the Three Jewels, Three Roots, and All the Holy Saints!<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

We bow down at the Lotus Feet of all the Gurus, the Three Jewels, the Three Roots and All the Holy Saints!<\/p>\n

We beseech all the Holy Saints of the ten directions and of the three times, namely: all the Gurus, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, all the Yidam Deities, Dakas, Dakinis, Dharma protectors, all virtuous Devas and Gods, the Eight Legions of Devas and N\u0101gas, the Four Great\u00a0Heavenly Kings, all Protective Deities, the Twelve Divine Generals and their Sixty \u2018Yearly Planetary Rulers\u2019 under them, and all the Guardians of the Earth of the Three Thousand Major Chiliocosms, please kindly behold and consider all the sentient beings of this age of strife and turbulent times in this Evil World of the Five Degenerations!<\/p>\n

We are all those pitiful sentient beings born in this very sorrowful Degenerate Age; with an ocean of ill-effects from the deluge of our negative collective karma that overflows from our universally boundless bad karmas, causing this plague to swiftly spread across the whole world like a huge tsunami. We now earnestly beseech to all the Gurus, the Three Jewels, the Three Roots, and all the Holy Saints, please be compassionate and have pity upon us all who are weak, powerless, and helpless sentient beings; please bless us all to be able to swiftly master the techniques in producing various kinds of vaccines (for prevention) and antidotal medicines (for treatment) in tackling this pandemic, so that this worldly catastrophe could hopefully be completely ceased to exist as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Please do not act with hesitation on your vows of the ancient past! Please stretch out your lightning hands of compassion! Please rescue, protect and shelter us, all defenceless beings, and free us from fears and agonies! We earnestly pray with our pure thoughts, by the power of the Dharma Realm and the perfect nature of the complete Sublime Truth, together with the ocean of compassion of the Three Supreme Refuges, to swiftly achieve the very goal of the following yearning prayer of ours, just as what we have hoped for and dreamed of!<\/p>\n

A \u201cPrayer for the Cessation of the Plague* and the Confessions of Our Sins\u201d <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

OM SVASTI<\/strong>!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All \u00a0conditioned actions are of impermanence and full of sufferings,<\/span><\/p>\n

With the serious plague suddenly appear and spread widely.<\/span><\/p>\n

We should practice the Buddhist Holy Dharma to eliminate the negative karmas,<\/span><\/p>\n

We beseech all the Buddhas in helping to eradicate this serious plague.<\/span><\/p>\n

All sufferings of the collective karmas are being aroused by hatred,<\/span><\/p>\n

While hatred has evolved from both greed and ignorance;<\/span><\/p>\n

These three poisons are intertwining to develop into this disaster (the plague),<\/span><\/p>\n

Hence we sincerely repent and confess for all of our sins, misdeeds and faults.<\/span><\/p>\n

With complete repentance of all our sins, misdeeds and faults in the breaking of the precepts (vows) and the transgressions of the samayas,<\/span><\/p>\n

Hereby, and from now on, we sincerely make our vows and aspirations:<\/span><\/p>\n

To strictly uphold the ten virtuous precepts, and to protect the correct Buddhist Holy Dharma,<\/span><\/p>\n

In studying the Sutras and Tantras so as to reveal our own inner wisdom;<\/span><\/p>\n

To truly understand the correct Buddhist knowledge and view, and to act upon the right path,<\/span><\/p>\n

In realizing and entering into the great ocean of the Buddhist Holy Dharma in order to unveil the intrinsic nature of oneself;<\/span><\/p>\n

To prostrate whole-heartedly with great devotion at the Lotus Feet of all the Buddhas,<\/span><\/p>\n

We beseech all the Buddhas to shower, and bestow upon all sentient beings, the nectars of the Buddhist Holy Dharma like falling rains;<\/span><\/p>\n

So as to eliminate this plague and all its pathological mutations and changes,<\/span><\/p>\n

As well as to extinguish the greed, to cease the hatred and to get rid of the ignorance;<\/span><\/p>\n

To bless the whole world with health, fortune and happiness, such that<\/span><\/p>\n

All sentient beings would become virtuous so that the collective karmas could be transformed.<\/span><\/p>\n

To all the Gurus, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas,<\/span><\/p>\n

Together with all the Yidams, Dakas and Dakinis,<\/span><\/p>\n

And all the numerous Dharma protectors, as limitless as the ocean, united together with all the numerous virtuous Devas,<\/span><\/p>\n

Please kindly remember all the auspicious vows and samayas that all of you had made in the countless past Aeons;<\/span><\/p>\n

Having great compassion and mercy to accept all of our true repentances, and<\/span><\/p>\n

Think fondly and deeply of all sentient beings as your own small children;<\/span><\/p>\n

To forgive all of their sins and faults, and please grant them protection and support, and<\/span><\/p>\n

Lead and guide the deceased to the Pure Land of the Great Bliss;<\/span><\/p>\n

To earnestly support and maintain those patients for the swift recovery of their health,<\/span><\/p>\n

We all keep our vows and samayas pure to truly practice the correct Buddhist Holy Dharma.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please kindly help to stop and eliminate all plagues in an instant, such that<\/span><\/p>\n

This world would never hear the names of war, illnesses and sufferings;<\/span><\/p>\n

But only listen to the gentle voice of the Buddhist Holy Dharma and the Holy Names of all the Buddhas,<\/span><\/p>\n

The Three Realms would then have great fortune, together with ever-increasing virtues and auspiciousness.<\/span><\/p>\n

On behalf of all the members of the Dudjom Buddhist Association (International), we sincerely pray and hope for world peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also sincerely pray and wish that all sentient beings to be able to practice the Buddhist Holy Dharma, so as to benefit both oneself and others, as well as to enlighten both oneself and others, all the way up to the Perfect Enlightenment!<\/span><\/p>\n

We are praying that all the illnesses of our motherly sentient beings to be eradicated, and all beings would be freed from sufferings and achieve happiness, and will eventually attain Buddhahood (Perfect Enlightenment)!.<\/span><\/p>\n

Greetings to All Disciples and Dharma Practitioners for the Lunar New Year of the Male Iron Mouse!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

\"\"<\/h2>\n

This coming Lunar New Year of the Mouse is about to start soon. Looking back at the past year, have you made any good progress on the path of learning Buddhism?<\/span><\/p>\n

Even if you haven’t made any good progress, have you finally established the direction of your Dharma-Practice?<\/span><\/p>\n

These are some of the crucial indicators<\/span> for all of you.<\/p>\n

In our present existence of space and time, the human life span is actually very short.<\/p>\n

The longest is only a hundred years. But the Lord Buddha Shakyamuni said, \u201cThese are all impermanent<\/span>, and life can very likely end within an instant.\u201d<\/p>\n

Therefore, the Lord Buddha Shakyamuni often reminded all sentient beings to cherish every minute and second to practice the Holy Dharma. Don’t let down the precious time of this very life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now that one has acquired this hard-to-be-obtained precious human body,
\nAnd has listened to the hard-to-be-heard Buddhist teachings;
\nYet, if this precious human body is not being used for the attainment of liberation in this very lifetime,
\nThen, in which of the countless lifetimes will one be able to attain liberation for this very body?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When is the most precious time in one\u2019s life? It is at that very moment, after you have listened to the Holy Dharma, when you want to decide<\/span> on whether you will take up the path of putting the Holy Dharma into real and concrete practice.<\/p>\n

At this critical moment, if your life choice is to put the Dharma-Practice as your first priority once and for all<\/span>, and to apply the \u201cProcedures on Mind-Training\u201d<\/strong><\/span> (as taught by the two Vajra Masters) by genuinely practicing them in every minute and second of your daily life, then you have created a luminous path of ascension for your future destiny, and to lay the best and most important foundation for yourself to stay away from the dark side of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Helplessly, sometimes you will find that the environments of our daily living to be full of various challenges and obstacles. It seems that these circumstances are always slowing you down on your Dharma-Practice, or even destroying your Dharma-Practice, thus making you to feel depressed.<\/p>\n

But, in actuality, this is not the case at all.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the process of one\u2019s own \u201cMind-Training and Dharma-Practice\u201d, we need to understand and learn that, regardless of whether favourable conditions or adverse conditions, it is still an excellent opportunity to help us in the training of our own minds.<\/p>\n

We must seize these opportunities in order to be able to elevate the Nature of our Minds<\/span>. At the same time, \u201cTHESE are the times that try men’s souls\u201d; and so we must be vigilant and be very careful to handle things delicately, and not to be controlled by one\u2019s own \u201cGreed, Hatred, and Ignorance\u201d.<\/p>\n

Moreover, in this world of Five Degenerations, we are existing on the human realm, with the possession of good memory, and having the good opportunity to learn the Holy Dharma. That is already at the apex of the pyramid. You all, our disciples, are the luckiest ones from among the fortunates.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the path of ordinary sentient beings, they all will have to follow the trajectories of their own karmic forces and destiny. It is, indeed, very difficult for them to escape from such kind of destiny<\/span>. For them, the Nature of their Minds will most likely be moving downwards, rather than upwards.<\/p>\n

Yet, as disciples of ours, while you are on the path of Dharma-Practice, and even if you encounter any obstacles, unfavourable conditions, family objections, and all kinds of mismatch, you should recognize and understand that these are just normal phenomena<\/span>. It is just some non-virtuous retributions, among the fortunate ones, that have appeared in your own karmic forces.<\/p>\n

These are, indeed, the dynamo and the soil horizon that help to elevate our own \u201cWisdom\u201d of Dharma-Practice, as well as the \u201cAwareness\u201d needed for our liberation from samsara<\/span>. Hence, if you are not afraid of these non-virtuous retributions, but instead regard them as a \u201cmotivating force to elevate yourself, a channel for you to remove karmic obstacles and to repay karmic debts\u201d<\/span>, then you are on the right track<\/span> of your Dharma-Practice. You are now treading on a \u201cLuminous Path of Elevating Upwards\u201d!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t be afraid on the arising of thoughts, but be afraid on the delay of Awareness!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t be afraid of karmic retributions, but be afraid of Ignorance!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The way for one\u2019s Dharma-Practice is to be on the positive and upward direction!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The way for success in one\u2019s Dharma-Practice is \u201cNot to abide in any form or substance\u201d!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We do hope and pray that all of you to have new successful experiences in your Dharma-Practice: the Elevation of Awareness!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Wishing you all to achieve immeasurable merits to be dedicated for the benefits of all our motherly sentient beings, and with great progress on the Bodhi Path (Road to Enlightenment)!<\/p>\n
